What is a SuperFood?

A SuperFood represents foods that are known nutritional powerhouses.  They not only help you extend your health span- the extent of time that you have to be healthy, vigorous, and vital-, but are also believed to extend your lifespan!  These are foods that have been proven to help prevent and, in some cases, reverse misfortunes of aging, including cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes, hypertension, certain cancers, and dementia.

Many of these SuperFoods might already be in your diet.  You might already enjoy broccoli, oranges, and even spinach.  Some SuperFoods may only be something people eat as a treat when they’re in season.  When you learn more about the health benefits of these SuperFoods I hope that you eat them much more frequently, even daily.
